Zolthrax was a demon in Skarn's service. He guarded the birthing chamber in one of the Pits of Anguish, before he was killed by the Shard-seeker.

Zolthrax
The Culler of the Twice-Damned patrols the pits of anguish, eliminating any demon warriors it deems inadequate with a swing of its boiling blades. Rumor holds that Zolthrax was once among their number: a faceless, identical wretch before it offered up scores of its fellows in tribute to the Abyssal worm below.[1]
In-game[]
Zolthrax appears as the second miniboss of the Pit of Anguish dungeon in Diablo Immortal. He is also seen as a boss in Path of Blood, where he appears as the boss of floors 5 and 95.
Combat[]
Zolthrax attacks with the following:
- Phase 1
- A 3-hit combo ending with a dual slash.
- Charge: Zolthrax charges forward and delivers a slash at the end.
- Blade Beam: Zolthrax charges his swords and delivers a 5-hit combo that begins and ends with a dual slash. Each slash creates a burning wave of fire and causes knockback.
- Phase 2
Zolthrax plants its sword in the ground
At 50% life, Zolthrax stabs a sword into the ground. Every 15 seconds 6 rifts extended from the sword to the edges of the arena before exploding. In addition to the attacks from the last phase, Zolthrax uses the following:
- Summon Minion: Zolthrax roars and summons 6 Deceivers.
- Divebomb: Zolthrax flies up (away from screen range) and drops to the ground, creating a fiery explosion that causes knockback.
- Firestorm: Zolthrax 's sword unleashes a firestorm in 6 rifts at 15 second intervals.
