The Zakarum Chapel within the Misty Valley
The Zakarum Chapel on Mount Zavain is the ruins of a chapel located in the center of the Misty Valley.

The chapel once belonged to the Zakarum, and was likely used as a staging ground during the Zakarum Crusade. It was abandoned with the onset of the Black Mists.[1]
Shortly before 1270, the Cult of Damnation laired there while they prepared for their grand plan. This was because the structure was hidden by the mists, and few were willing to brave the dangers of the Misty Valley to find the place. Nightmares swarmed around the structure, but could not enter, likely because of the residual Light on the location.[2] Dravec also learnt infernal magic from the cult there.[3]
By 1270, Oza and the Shard-seeker found the ruins.[3]

The Zakarum Chapel is a Mount Zavain zone in Diablo Immortal. It is not an official zone, and is counted as part of the Misty Valley. Its name was given in a quest objective.
It is first encountered in the core quest Strange Wooden Hut".
