Ymuthrus was a member of the Inari. He was the Prevailing Wind during the outbreak of the Affliction.
Biography[]
After the theft of the Pathstone by Morwith, Ymuthrus became the new Prevailing Wind of Ancients' Cradle. He declared that Morwith had damned their home with her selfishness, and declared that every Lilin who had advocated fleeing the Cradle were just as responsible. That their punishment would be death. His fellow Inari were taken aback by the severity of his edict, but only one, Zatham, spoke out against it.[1]
Ymuthrus insisted Zatham be judged in the rite of Purity's Penance. It did not kill Zatham, but burned the eyes from his face. Ymuthrus then permitted him exile. Geherit noted that it was, by Ymuthrus's standards, generous.[1]
