Woven Plate was a Legendary Crafting Material in Diablo III. It has a character level of 1, is account bound, and has a maximum stack amount of 1000. It was required to craft the Piro Marella legendary crusader shield. As of patch 2.0.6., it no longer drops, and existing Plates can be sold for 50,000 gold.
It could only drop from the unique Skeletal Shieldbearers:
- Enmerkar (Festering Woods, The Last Stand of the Ancients Event)
- Captain Donn Adams (The Keep Depths Level 1)
- Captain Dale (The Keep Depths Level 1)
- Captain Cage (Cathedral Level 4)
In his last moments of life, Mastersmith Iach could not help but laugh. Meeting his fate at the hands of shield-wielding skeletons seemed appropriate, somehow.
