Passive: Summon 2 wolf companions that bite enemies for Physical damage.

Active: Direct the wolves to focus an enemy. The wolves have a 50% increased chance to critically strike the enemy they focus.

Wolves is a Companion skill used by Druid in Diablo IV, inspired by the classic Wolf minions.

In-game[]

Similar to Command Skeletons, this skill passively summons two wolves. Should one of them die, it will be resummoned at the Druid's side in a few seconds. Should the Druid die, Wolves will despawn.

Wolves will not gain protective bonuses from skills, but do share the Druid's basic stats, including those gained from passive talents. Their Toughness is roughly equal to the Druid's, but Wolves' attacks have zero Proc Coefficient.

When activated, orders the Wolves to leap to and attack a specified target (cannot be cast if none is given) with 50% increased Critical Hit chances (i.e. total chance x1.5, not the X% + 50%). Lasts until redirected to a different target, or until the enemy is dead.

This skill can be used in any Shapeshifting form, and does not change the Druid's current form.

Talents that empower the Werewolf form will have no effect on the attacks of Wolves. However, an effect that empowers any skill does apply to the Wolves, both passively and actively.

  • Heightened Senses (5): Damage Reduction against nearby enemies is increased by 6% per point.
  • Predatory Instinct (5): Deal 3% increased damage to nearby enemies per point.
  • Call of the Wild (5): Critical Strike Chance is increased by 8% per point against the Wolves' focus target. Ravens passive attacks make enemies Vulnerable for 20% of the damage dealt per point.
  • Overpower (5): Up to a 8% chance on hit per point to Knock Down Slowed enemies for 1 second.
  • Scent of Blood (5): Deal 4% increased damage per point to Crowd Controlled enemies.
  • Feral Spirit (5): Critical Strike Damage is increased by 6% per point for 4 seconds after using a Shapeshifting skill.
  • Quickshift (1): After Shapeshifting into a different form, next skill deals 30% increased damage.
  • Ancestral Fortitude (5): Increases non-Physical Resistances by 8% per point.
  • Eye of the Storm (5): Critical Strikes with Storm skills increase the Critical Strike Chance of non-Storm skills by 5% per point for 3 seconds.
