Whispers of the Dead is a gameplay system in Diablo IV.
Gameplay[]
Whispers of the Dead unlocks after completing the base campaign of Diablo IV, where the player begins serving the Tree of Whispers. Displayed on the map, players will see various Whispers scattered throughout Sanctuary, linked to the motivations of the Tree. Completion of these tasks rewards players with experience, gold, and Grim Favors.[1] Nightmare Sigils can also be earned through this system.[2]
The types of Whispers a player sees on their map rotate frequently, with new ones becoming available throughout the day. Each Whisper will offer both a different set of rewards and experience for completing it.[1]
