The Western Kingdoms (a.k.a. the West) consist of the lands of Westmarch, Khanduras and Entsteig. They lie to the west of the Twin Seas and southwards of the Northern Steppes.
Lore[]
Before the coming of Rakkis, jungles existed in the continent's south.[1] In the present, the climate and terrain of the Western Kingdoms are much cooler and rockier than that of Kehjistan.[2]
Monarchy was the system of government used by all of the Western Kingdoms. When a monarch died and their heir ready to take the throne, it was tradition that the realm's nobles gather in the kingdom's capital to pay homage to both and show support to the latter. The converging of so much military and political might was also supposed to be a sign of stability to the general populace.[3]
History[]
The Barbarians dominated the entire continent before the coming of Rakkis.[4] Prior to his coming, the West was uncharted by those of the East.[5]
Trivia[]
- The Western Kingdoms can be considered analagous to western Europe.
