Wayside Cave
The Wayside Cave is a small Scosglen dungeon in Diablo IV, located in Vasily's Reach. It is only accessible in Season of Blood.
Lore[]
The Wayside Cave was apparently used as a lair for Zir's vampire cult. Merchant caravans were abducted and their human occupants fed upon, in order that the vampires might reclaim their ancient nephalem birthright through human blood.
The Wanderer was sent to Vasily's Reach by Magistrate Oren. They entered the cave and were bitten by a vampire, but were able to fend off their attackers.[1]
In-game[]
The cave can only be explored as part of the seasonal quest "Blood Money." Once this portion of the quest is complete, the cave cannot be re-entered.
