Warlord's Trust is an exceptional unique Military Axe from Diablo II: Lord of Destruction.

Strangely enough, despite being a two-handed axe, Warlord's Trust has bonuses of a truly defensive nature.

Besides its small boost to Resistances, Warlord's Trust also boosts Defense and most notably Life. At high levels, Warlord's Trust will give a very large bonus to Vitality which, depending on the Character Class, will in turn give a big boost to Life.

The rare ethereal version is not a bad option for upgrading to a Feral axe as it offers a good balance between offensive output and defensive buffs. Though it may be cost-prohibitive since once you're crossing that threshold, runeword weapons become exponentially better.
