The Warden of Everfrost is an NPC that is seen in Diablo Immortal.
Biography[]
Long ago, Rhewilf terrorized the Barbarians on Mount Arreat. Warriors from different clans gathered to defeat him. After a long battle, they couldn't kill it. Instead, they drove it into a lake, and froze the lake before Rhewilf could get out. Using runic swords, the Barbarians erected a ward around Rhewilf, to keep the lake frozen for all time and Rhewilf trapped within it.[1]
The Warden volunteered to stand vigil over Rhewilf's prison and make sure the runic swords are not tampered with. His dedication kept him at his post even after death.[1]

The Warden can be found at the Everfrost Lake, to the south of its waypoint. He gives the side quest, Frozen Nightmare.
