The Vortex Shield is an elite paladin shield in Diablo II.
Vortex shields have the potential to be the highest defense paladin shields. Paladin Shields will also receive an Auto Mod that can either increase all Resistances or provide boosts to Damage and Attack Rating. Vortex shields that roll high on defense and all resistances are highly sought after as bases for Rune Words.
