- When you defeat an enemy you trigger a volatile explosion dealing X% base damage + 365 to all nearby enemies while granting yourself Y% increased damage for 2 seconds. Cannot occur more often than once every 6 seconds.

Awakening[]
Volatility Shard requires the following Legendary Gems to activate Resonance set bonuses after Awakening:
- Heartstone (1-star, unlocks at Rank 4)
- Kir Sling (2-star, unlocks at Rank 6)
- The Abiding Curse (2-star, unlocks at Rank 8)
The following Resonance set bonuses can be activated after reaching the needed Resonance from the above gems:
- 10: Damage done to shielded enemies increased by 4%
- 30: Damage to full Life enemies increased by 5%
- 50: Damage increased 4% to enemies below 30% Life
The following Legendary Gems require Volatility Shard to activate Resonance set bonuses after Awakening:
- Kir Sling (2-star, at Rank 6)
- Ironbane (2-star, at Rank 6)
- Viper's Bite (2-star, at Rank 6)
- Grim Rhythm (2-star, at Rank 8)
