The entrance to the island

TheVoidwound Cage is a quest specific zone seen in Diablo Immortal. It is accessible only in the Helliquary quest "The Chainbreakers".

This zone is an island located to the north of the Gulf of Westmarch, where the Untameable Wilds Circle sealed the Voidwound.

Lore

After Catarag was defeated, the Circle's of Sharval devised a plan to seal the remaining Voidwound. After they succeeded in trapping the Voidwound in their bodies, they travelled to a distant island where the Voidwound would be sealed. There a vessel, which extended to beneath the sea had been prepared. Using the light of the moon, a ward was woven into the vessel to trap the Voidwound for as long as the moon gleams.

As the ward was made using moonlight, it weakened with the turn of the moon. So the Circles stand vigil, to maintain the ward when the moon wanes

The Chainbreakers

Sometime after the parting of the mists on Mount Zavain, the island came under attack by the Cult of Terror.
