Vine Creeper is a Companion skill used by Druid in Diablo IV, inspired by the classic Creeper minions.
In-game[]
This skill passively summons a vine that cannot be attacked by enemies and do not block enemy pathing. Every few seconds it will emerge and attack a single foe, placing a Damage Over Time effect on them. This poison does not stack, but can be applied to multiple targets one by one.
Vine shares the Druid's basic offensive stats, including those gained from passive talents. Its attacks have zero Proc Coefficient. The poison, while it cannot score Critical Hits, increases damage based on the Critical Hit Chance/Damage ratio.
When activated, immediately resolves a one-time attack on the target area, hitting each enemy within it once, placing a stronger poison that stacks with the normal one, and Stunning each target.
This skill can be used in any Shapeshifting form, and does not change the Druid's current form.
Talents and effects that empower skills do apply to the Vine Creeper, both passively and actively.

- Predatory Instinct (5): Deal 3% increased damage to nearby enemies per point.
- Call of the Wild (5): Critical Strike Chance is increased by 8% per point against the Wolves' focus target. Ravens passive attacks make enemies Vulnerable for 20% of the damage dealt per point. Vine Creeper's Poison duration is increased by 8% per point.
- Overpower (5): Up to a 8% chance on hit per point to Knock Down Slowed enemies for 1 second.
- Scent of Blood (5): Deal 4% increased damage per point to Crowd Controlled enemies.
- Feral Spirit (5): Critical Strike Damage is increased by 6% per point for 4 seconds after using a Shapeshifting skill.
- Quickshift (1): After Shapeshifting into a different form, next skill deals 30% increased damage.
- Eye of the Storm (5): Critical Strikes with Storm skills increase the Critical Strike Chance of non-Storm skills by 5% per point for 3 seconds.
