Vani was a resident of Nevesk.
Biography[]
Vani lived in Nevesk. A Cathedral of Light priest helped her give birth.
In 1336, while attending a service at the Nevesk chapel, Lilith appeared, seducing Vani and the other villagers into following her. While the priest urged them to resist Lilith, Vani took a Cathedral emblem and bashed him in the head. The priest pleaded to her, reminding Vani that he'd helped deliver her child. However, Vani and the townsfolk continued to assault the priest as Lilith left. They placed the headless body in Icehowl Ruins, where Iosef later found it. Upon his arrival into Nevesk, Vani and the townsfolk druged Iosef, before Vani and Oswen locked him in a shed.
Iosef rambled like a madman about demons and bit Oswen's hand. The Wanderer overheared the interaction when entering the village and investigated. Vani lied to the Wanderer, saying that Iosef had come to the village as a madman, yelling about what he had seen inside the ruins.[1]
She asked the Wanderer to investigate the ruins.[1] The Wanderer succeeded, to Vani's apparent surprise. She posed a celebration with the other villagers in order to drug the Wanderer. Oswen wheeled the Wanderer away for a sacrificial ritual, but was killed by Iosef, who saved the Wanderer.[2] Afterwards, Vani and the other townsfolk attacked, but they were killed.[3]
