Valostre was an ancient nephalem kingdom (or similar entity) located on Bilefen.
Lore[]
Valostre was apparently a martial culture; their warriors were celebrated in art, and they partook in gladitorial combat. Ross speculated that they weren't a particuarly creative people. Valostre partook in wars (it is unclear if these were external, intercine, or both).[2]
At a period of time, Sargoth their rising star, was trained within the citadel in the arts of magecraft. Impatient with his progress he murdered his tutors in their sleep. Later, he offered most of Valostre as a sacrifice to the Burning Hells. Only the priestess was able to oppose him, and seal him within the temple at the cost of her life.[3]
By the 13th century of the Anno Kehjistani, the only evidence of Valostre on Bilefen was ancient ruins. Despite this, the spirits of Valostre nephalem endured. The Incarnate of Valostre remained on Bilefen as part of a trap to lure worthy adventurers into a shadowy realm where they would battle Valostre nephalem and at least in one case, the Incarnate itself.[2]
