Uthmaash-Ksarr the Breath Collector is a demon and member of the Stormspawn.

Biography[]

Uthmaash-Ksarr is renowned for its ability to generate a deadly mist. The longer it engages its foe(s), the more mist will blanket their every move. Some say that even the smallest spot of light can lead one through the darkness in times of peril.

Uthmaash-Ksarr gathers mistfiends into itself. Though it can come and go from the mists of the Pelghain archipelago as it wishes, it rarely strays far. Each time it draws the living into the mist to give up their last breath, its collection grows vaster still.^[1]

After it's death, its head, horns, grasping hands, lungs and foot were sealed in the Helliquary.

In-game[]

Uthmaash-Kaar is a Helliquary boss in Diablo Immortal, introduced in the Nightmare Manifest update. Defeating Uthmaash-Ksarr on Hell VI alone or with a party unlocks Inferno Difficulty I (Paragon Levels 400-500). The Devouring Mists cosmetic is themed around Uthmaash-Kaar.

Combat[]

Uthmaash-Ksarr is fought in the Disquiet Vale. It has a small range of skills, and its biggest threat lies in its mists. Those can be avoided by absorbing the light of cleansing lanterns, which dispels the mists around the player for 20 seconds.

It is advised to play in a raid or have a summoner build so that player(s) can restock their cleansing lights while Uthmaash-Ksarr is distracted.

Phase 1.: "Depart your fleshly prison."

Uthmaash-Ksarr attacks with the following:

A sweep of its horns
Leap: Uthmaash-Ksarr leaps to the player's position, causing damage and knockback. This action is done thrice in a row.
- This attack also produces a Quake.
Bone Spikes: Uthmaash-Ksarr howls and creates a ward that follows the player. For the next 5 seconds, bone spikes will erupt at the players' location if they stop moving. The spikes take a second to charge.
- This is Uthmaash-Ksarr's highest damaging skill.
Mist Orbs: Uthmaash-Ksarr expels several orbs of condensed mist that deal AoE damage. The orbs disperse into mists upon expiration.
