Trond is a Barbarian of the Shadow Wolf Tribe. He lives at Bitter Hearth village.
Biography[]
Trond possessed the Tempest Stone, as possessed by his father, and his father before him. However, in 1270, while on the Frozen Tundra, the stone was stolen by a thief, who left Trond temporarily incapacitated. Trond requested aid from an adventurer to retrieve the relic, which they did. The adventurer informed Trond that the thief had met his end, and handed the stone back, hoping Trond avoided the same fate.[2]
Later Trond spotted an Ice Clan Shaman leading yeti around like an experienced druid. In his curiosity he went to investigate but was captured and trapped behind a wall of ice. Luckily an adventurer saw him. Trond could not be freed because the ice wall was reinforced by magic. Attempting to break the wall caused a ruckus that brought the shaman back. Fortunately for Trond the Khazra Shaman didn't have a firm control of the yeti, and one of them broke the wall in its rampage.[3]
Later, Bitter Hearth was hit by a heavy blizzard. Trond helped to build a windbreak.[4]
When Fianne gathered barbarians to rebuild Sescheron, Trond volunteered. His duty was to plant cedars, upon which the names of those that died in Harrogath would be carved on.[5]

Trond is an NPC in Diablo Immortal. He appears in Frozen Tundra, in the Heart of the Storm, Overgrowth, and Unusual Cold side quests. He dual wields tomahawks to fight.
