Core[]
- Lieutenant Lavail: Terrifying noises were coming from the armory, so Tyrael went to investigate. He said if you were to return, I should send you there.
- Leah: I am losing control!
- Leah: The soulstone seems stable now.
- Tyrael: Yes, but for how long? Our time grows short! We must take this fight to Azmodan!
- Class
- Necromancer: To the battlefields, then![1]
Townsfolk Dialogue (Bastion's Keep Stronghold)[]
- Haedrig Eamon: Time has flown by since I joined you in New Tristram. Look at us now. Who would have ever guessed we’d be here? And now every passing hour brings us closer to our goal. But do we have a chance?
- Class
- Necromancer: The scales could ever tip in our favor.
- Myriam: You should give some thought to taking some time for yourself, celsa. You can save the world tomorrow. Stay with us tonight! I’ll buy drinks! We’ll dance!
- Class
- Necromancer: I cannot. It is unseemly.
- Myriam: I knew you’d say that. I really did.
- Covetous Shen: Oh, dear. That’s a very resolute expression you’re wearing. You may as well say what you’re thinking.
- Class
- Necromancer: I know you are not what you appear to be. But we are in the midst of battle, and you are idle...so you cannot be a warrior.
- Covetous Shen: And why not? People can be anything they want, I say. The only limitation is time, and I have been alive for many years.
- Class
- Necromancer: Is that it? You do not age as the rest of us do?
- Covetous Shen: You become so serious about such things. You will grow old long before your time. Wouldn’t you be happier to live like me?[1]
Quest Log[]
- Part 1
- Barbarian: The sound of demonic rage spills forth from the armory. Could the dark power of the soulstone be too much for Leah? I must hurry before all is lost!
- Crusader: Demonic shrieks are coming from the armory. Leah may be in danger - I go.
- Demon Hunter: If those noises are coming from the armory, that means Leah is in peril. The stone is too much for her to handle alone. I must investigate quickly!
- Monk: Strange and ominous sounds are coming from the armory. Has something happened to the Black Soulstone? I must go to Leah at once.
- Part 2'
- Barbarian: The Black Soulstone is once again under Leah's control. The danger has passed...for now. We must capture Azmodan's essence within the soulstone soon so that we can destroy it.
- Crusader: Leah has control of the soulstone once more. But for how long? I must and this invasion soon, with Azmodan's death.
- Demon Hunter: It is easier for Leah to hold the Soulstone now that some of its demonic energy has been released. It will build up again in time, though. I do not know how much more of this Leah can withstand. If my nightmares are severe, then her suffering must be even worse. I have to defeat Azmodan and trap his essence within the Soulstone before we lose her...
- Monk: Leah is safe. She has quieted the Soulstone, though for how long, I do not know. Her strength will not hold forever. I have no time to waste. Azmodan must be destroyed and his soul sealed within the stone before Leah loses control.
- Necromancer: The disturbance has been contained. Yet the Black Soulstone itself is an unstable creation it cannot contain so much demonic power without having something to counter it. I wonder if imprisoned angels would solve the imbalance? But Tyrael would never hear of that.
