The Temple City of Travincal was the holy headquarters of the Church of Zakarum in Kurast. In the center was the Temple of Light, their holiest shrine. The Temple City - and the High Council of the Zakarum - were corrupted by the influence of the Lord of Hatred, Mephisto, and the city became a bloody and ruined shadow of its former self.
