The Traveler's Journal is a tome in Act I of Diablo III. It is one of many books needed to complete the achievement Historian of Tristram. The journal can be found an Adventurer's Corpse, which lies at the edge of an overgrown mass grave/pit somewhere along Old Tristram Road. Looting the corpse provokes several Risen Dead into crawling out of the pit to attack.
The journal entry reads as follows:
- While exploring a cave with hopes of finding hidden treasure, I came upon a most grisly sight - a heap of dead bodies. Unbelieveably, as I was searching them for any items of value, they began to rise! I must tell them of this in New Tristram before it's too late.
