- This article is about the Diablo II set; for the Diablo III set, see Trag'Oul's Avatar.
Trang-Oul's Avatar is a set of items in Diablo II: Lord of Destruction.
This set is designed for the Necromancer, however, any class can equip the items in this set, except for Trang-Oul's Wing. Only the Necromancer can complete this set.
If you complete this set, the Necromancer will transform into a Vampire in appearance. He will also get skills such as Meteor, Fire Wall, and Fire Ball. This set certainly allows the wearer to have some fun confusing less experienced players.
There is a known bug associated with wearing this set which will increase casting delay,[1] resulting in slower casting (even with faster cast-items). While crippling for Bonemancer, and, to a lesser extent, Novamancer (due to poison damage being applied over time) builds that heavily rely on casting spells, it does not affect Summoners to a large extent, which rely on minions and only occasionally cast curses.
"Trang-Oul's" is the proper name for this set despite what the manual might say or other spellings seen.[1]

Trivia[]
The Vampire monster is an evolution of the Lich which appeared in Sierra's Hellfire expansion of the original Diablo game. As a Lich is a wizard that deliberately made themselves undead in a quest to gain greater magical powers, it would be a more apropos name for the creature which the Necromancer becomes upon completion of the Trang-Oul set.
