Thys Chapter

The Thys Chapter (at times called Thys Chapterhouse,^[1]or just Thys)^[2] is a chapter of the Blood Knights based in Shassar Sea.

Thys Chapter is an elusive^[3] chapter of the Blood Knights. They search the desert of Shassar for gatherings of thralls, and deal with knights who succumb to their curse.^[1] The chapterhouse is cautious of who they induct and are few by design.^[2]

The staunch dedication of Thys Chapter to the extermination of vampires have put them at odds with the Annulet^[3] and Gea Kul Chapterhouse^[4] when they began to also fight demons.^[5]

Thys Portal — The entrance to the chapterhouse

The chapterhouse of Thys is located in the Chamber of Sacrifice, with its entrance a hidden portal accessible only to members or invited guests.^[1] It is a modest place (at least when compared to that of Gea Kul), but is sufficient to serve the needs of the Blood Knights.^[1] It is predominantly decorated in red motifs and stained glass windows. Tenets of the chapter are visibly displayed at various points of the chapterhouse.

Of note, the chapterhouse contains at least a study and two cenotaphs (an Orb and Star Cenotaph). The censers of fallen blood knights can be destroyed in either cenotaph in a ritual that will kill the corresponding abomination — or at least greatly harm it.^[1]

In-game[]

The Thys Chapter is featured in Diablo Immortal as part of the elite quest; Vowed in Blood. Its chapterhouse is accessed from the Chamber of Sacrifice. The interior is basked in prominently red motifs and large stained glasses windows from all sides, it is populated by few knight NPCs.
