Lore[]
- Geherit(src)

Geherit communes with the spring
The Veiled Spring teems with the Fire of Life. When one communes with the spring, they can receive visions and portents[1] about the present and future. However,it's visions are often symbolic and subject to interpretation.[2]
The Veiled Spring cannot scry persons who are already dead.[3]

Geherit opens the entrance to the Veiled Spring
An entrance to the Veiled Spring is located in the Teeming Grounds, and the spring in turn is connected to Shieldholm[1] and the Commingling Pit[2] through portals.
The security of the Veiled Spring lies in its secrecy, as once a person knows its location, they can portal in[2] and even bring others with them.[4]
History[]
At some point in the 13th century, Geherit discovered the Veiled Spring and claimed it as a hideaway. C. 1272, she received a vision that an outsider would be the salvation of the land.[1] Shortly after, Ancients' Cradle was invaded by the Cult of Terror.
Geherit would later invite Zatham—an exiled Inari, and his outsider companion to the Veiled Spring, and there they formed a plan to stop the cult.[1] The outsider was sent to balance the Pathstone at the shrines of Inarius and Lilith, while Zatham left to derail the cult.

The ruins of The Veiled Spring
Zatham later lead the cult to the Veiled Spring, and they thrashed the place after harvesting every bit of the Fire of Life.[4]
Aftermath[]

The Veiled Spring, repaired
In the aftermath of Baal's rampage in the island,[5] Geherit and Tarzoine repaired the Veiled Spring. They began gathering bits of knowledge and lore they could find,as it is a legacy that would outlive them, and could once again unite the Inari and Lilin.
In-game[]
The Veiled Spring is one of the Ancients' Cradle regions in Diablo Immortal. It is initially featured as a story dungeon, and is accessible during the quests; An Elder's Hope, My Father's House and Hateful Blessings.
After completing the Destruction's Wake questline, the Veiled Spring becomes accessible once more. Geherit and Tarzoine can be found inside, along with new dialogue and 4 new tomes.
Quotes[]
- Geherit: Rebuilding our halls is pointless when the people are splintered. We must start by repairing our knowledge. It will outlive all else we do.
- Tarzoine: Geherit does not fear me, despite everything. She does not weep for me. We simply work. It is more and less than I expected.
Trivia[]
- The visions and portents produced by the Veiled Spring seem to be limited to events that occur/will occur on the Ancients' Cradle.
- The elaborate statues of an angel and demon at the portals to Shieldholme and the Commingling Pit imply that the location may have once served an official purpose.
