The Salamander is a unique Battle Staff designed for Sorceress use.
Despite its numerous bonuses to Fire Skills, the skills the Salamander bestows bonuses to are intermediate at best. In the Lord of Destruction expansion, the Salamander's bonuses can easily be overshadowed at a similar stage in the game by the Leaf Rune Word, which grants more skills for the cost of a Tir Rune and a Ral Rune, if made in the proper staff.
