Biography[]
The birth of the Jurat
Upon defeat to the Shard-seeker, the Lilin elder Lowarch sacrificed himself at the Shrine of Lilith. The potent energies of the Mother's Legacy below the shrine warped him, giving birth to a brutish demon.[1]
Even after death, the Jurat was revived from the Mother's Legacy to guard the shrine.
In-game[]
The Jurat spawns at the Shrine of Lilith, located at the end of the Commingling Pit in Ancients' Cradle at 30 minutes past every hour (even though a countdown shows up to this exact time in the last 30 seconds, the actual spawn time is around 12 seconds later).
It drops 6 Beguiling Dust in addition to regular boss drops.
The Jurat is also encountered in the main quest "Hateful Blessings."
Combat[]
The Jurat wields a large axe (the blade can invert to form a spear) to fight. It attacks with the following:
- Swipe: 2 swipes with its axe.
- Torrent: The Jurat gathers energy at its chest, then unleashes it as multiple blasts.
- Cave in: The Jurat slams its spear to the ground, causing multiple rocks to fall from above.
- Summon Minion: The Jurat summons Afflicted Islanders with a roar.
- Quake: The Jurat stabs its spear into the ground, rupturing it in the concentric rings of spike.
- Whirlwind: The Jurat spins with its spear held out, damaging all within its reach.
