The Eye of the Storm

The Eye of the Storm is a legendary spirit stone for the Monk in Diablo III. It requires character level 50 to drop.

It is the only Spirit Stone (and one of the few helms in game) to grant increased Lightning skill damage. Moreover, it offers up to 30% elemental skill damage, more than any other item in game.

Development

In Patch 2.6.7, The Eye of the Storm was planned to gain a unique legendary power: when Sweeping Wind hits exactly 1 enemy, its damage is increased by 100%. However, the redesign of the Patterns of Justice set reduced the need for the item's redesign, and it remained unchanged.^{[citation needed]}
