The Eternal Guardian is the seventh Library of Zoltun Kulle quest in Diablo Immortal. It follows on directly from Source of Knowledge, and leads directly into Reforging the Soul.
Description[]
The Chaos engine forges the Spark of Life from living sand. While such alchemy is beyond your skill, the remnants of golems should suffice as material.
One of the golems is eager to speak to you. Perhaps he can help you find a way to obtain the necessary materials to form the Spark of Life.
Insightful Sands notes that there are many golem corpses in the Library. Perhaps his fallen brethren can serve the Curator in death?
The golems' essence is too faint to be of use. There must be some other way to obtain the living sand necessary.
One of Zoltun Kulle's creations known as the Eternal Guardian has succumbed to madness. Destroy it, and its remains could be enough to forge the Spark of Life.

Transcript[]
- Class: Obtain the remains of a golem. Extract the essence of life. Reanimate the core. A simple plan.
- The Curator: Yes, it is. If you're wise enough, you may not even need to fight them. We only need remnants, after all. (cut line)
- Stalwart Protector: Assistance. Required.
- Resolute Smelter: Protect. Defend. Sacrifice. Necessity.
- Insightful Sands: A curiosity. Who are you? Why assist golems?
- Class: It's a long story. Let's deal with the enemy first. (cut line)
- Insightful Sands: Discussion needed. Let us converse.
- Insightful Sands: Confusing actions. Why assist golems? Have ulterior motives? Seeking potential reward?
- Class: What? No. The Curator and I are attempting to restore the library's defenses. But we cannot do that without life essence.
- Insightful Sands: Curator's companion! Answer...is...acceptable. Curator manages library. Potential alliance forming? Need further discussion. Follow to camp?
- Insightful Sands: Follow, companion. Hidden enclave nearby. Remains largely intact.
- Insightful Sands: Life essence. You require, yes? Examine golem remains. Potential essence source.
- Dense Sentry: Outsider? Disconcerting.
- Class: The spark of life in this one is fading. I don't think this will be enough.
- Insightful Sands: Troublesome revelation. So many monsters. So few golems. Alternative outcomes desired.
- Resolute Smelter: Agreement.
- Class: I'm sorry for your losses. Unfortunately, the life essence within these deceased golems is not going to be enough. Are there any other options? Larger golems?
- Insightful Sands: Options...exist. Or, perhaps...option. The Eternal Guardian. Protects private sanctum. Designed by master! Most advanced golem. Now, quite demented. Dangerous and large. Better off destroyed. (cut line)
- Insightful Sands: Options...exist. The Eternal Guardian. Protects private sanctum. Now, quite demented. Better off destroyed.
- Class:
- Barbarian: The most advanced of your kind, you say? That seems worth a look. You and your friends have been most helpful.
- Necromancer: An advanced golem that has already gone mad...that is indeed worth a look. You and your friends have been most helpful.
- Insightful Sands: Unnecessary flattery. Glad to assist. You are welcome. Visit enclave anytime. We offer assistance.
- Insithful Sands: Salvage, upgrade, identify...whatever you require. Now, to work. (cut line)
- Insightful Sands: Farewell, ally. Give Curator regards.
- Resolute Smelter: Gratitude.
- Sand Scorpion Arsonist: Where's the damned treasure? All I see are these lousy books!
- Class: The bridge must have controls around here somewhere. Perhaps the devices on the sides?
- The Eternal Guardian: None are welcome in the master's sanctum! Your bones will shatter for this intrusion!
- Class:
- Barbarian: Now to bring the pieces to the Chaos Engine and extract its life essence.
- Necromancer: This golem was certainly more advanced than the others. Hopefully the Chaos Engine can extract enough essence from it.
- Class: First, however, I need to get out of here.
- Class: The runes here look familiar...is this some kind of portal device? Perhaps it can be attuned to reach the Chaos Engine, somehow.
- Mysterious Voice: Destination: Chaos Engine accepted. Warning: magical energies are nearly depleted. Teleportation is one way.
- Mysterious Voice: Transfer to Chaos Engine beginning.
