"The Eternal Guardian. Protects private sanctum. Designed by master! Most advanced golem. Now, quite demented. Dangerous and large. Better off destroyed."

The Eternal Guardian, Construct of Coalesced Souls is a boss in Diablo Immortal.

Biography[]

"None are welcome in the master's sanctum! Your bones will shatter for this intrusion!"

- The Eternal Guardian(src)

The Eternal Guardian was the most advanced Golem ever constructed by Zoltun Kulle.[1] Kulle used living sand to animate his creations, imbuing within them the spark of life,[2] but while this may be true for the Guardian, its title indicates that souls were used in its construction.

Whatever the truth of the matter, the Guardian was tasked with protecting Kulle's private sanctum. Over time, however, the Guardian became demented.

In 1270, a hero/group of heroes confronted the Guardian on the advice of Insightful Sands, as they sought its essence to reactive the library's core. The Guardian was destroyed, and its essence retrieved[1] via its remains. They were inserted into the Chaos Engine.[3]

  • A wide swipe
  • A charge attack
  • Rubble falls from the ceiling, dealing AoE damage—there are visual indicators before the rocks land
