The Cursed Crystals is an event in Act V of Diablo III. It takes place in the Infested Ruins, a small dungeon in the Battlefields of Eternity, and a bounty may be offered to complete it.
The Ruins consist of an initial area with a Cursed Crystal object hovering in the center, a larger oval area with two Cursed Crystals, and a short path connecting them with a Cursed Chest in the middle. The Crystals must be activated one by one, causing several Warscarred Ravagers and Footsoldiers to attack the first two times. Destroying the final crystal spawns Keeper Hashemel himself, and even more Ravagers.
Upon killing the Keeper, the cursed on the chest is lifted and the event is complete.
This event is one of the two featuring Cursed Crystal prisons: The Crystal Prison in Pandemonium Fortress level 2 features identical devices.
