The Cleansing Flame is a side quest in Diablo IV. It is given by Priest Matvey, who can be found in Margrave in the Fractured Peaks.

- Class: It seems Margrave is beset by evil on all sides.
- Priest Matvey: Yes, darkness is all around us, threatening to close in at any moment. It is our struggle to keep it at bay, if only just barely.
- Priest Matvey: Back when the Knights Penitent still patrolled these woods, they would construct sanctified braziers to ward off evil.
- Class: I have lit the old brazier.
- Priest Matvey: Ah, so you have. I can smell it from here. I wish I could have seen the flames dance.
- Priest Matvey: The Light shines through you, wanderer.
