The Angered Dead is an event that takes place in Westmarch Commons in Act V of Diablo III. A bounty may be assigned to complete it.
Near the end of one of the roads winding through the Commons, the Brenden Manor Grounds are marked by stone steps leading up to a circular courtyard and fountain, abutting a house to the west and a stately tomb to the east. A dirt path runs behind the tomb, allowing the courtyard to be bypassed if desired.
A few Shadow Swordwielders and Ghostly Masons attack from various points in the area upon approach, and Summoned Soldiers and Shield Guards may be stationed in the courtyard. Upon entering the courtyard, the ghostly unique Lord Darius Brenden seals the gates and attacks the intruding Nephalem, assisted by a few other Swordwielders and Masons. Defeating him completes the event, awarding gold and experience.
