Terror's Tide is the second of the storyline quests released with the Terror's Tide update. It starts immediately after Starsign, once the player arrives at Stormpoint. It is immediately succeeded by Message in Blood.

(The cultists bloody trail proceeds up the beach. Stay on their track.)

The player is dropped off at the beach of Stormpoint
- Start heading further inland
- Class: Wreckage everywhere... and blood on the wind. I hope there's still time to do something.

The player comes across a summoning ritual, where Terror Cultists sacrifice some civilians
- Deadwright: Walls and arrows are nothing to His greatest servants.
Dread herald of Diablo... Take your place above us.
Let terror bloom in the garden of flesh.
- Defeat the Cultists
- Deadwright: The Great One will sniff out the Heart of Creation. We will seize it together.
Deal with the straggler.
- As the last Cultist is killed
- Deadwright: You are not one of the militia or their whelps. Interesting.
- Continue along the path and follow the taint of the ritual
- Class: There are hordes of them... enough to trip over the shard. I have to hurry.
- Class: Another foul ritual. Even the air is unsettling.
They won't be far off.
