The Temple of Namari
The Temple of Namari is located on Bilefen.
Lore[]
The temple is located on Bilefen; southeast from Port Justinian, and towards the center of the island,[1] inside the Drowned Lagoon. The structure has an antechamber[2] and a large interior structure.[3] It has at least one auxiliary entrance that leads to its entrance.[2]
It holds the angelic weapon Yl'nira.[4]
History[]

Citadel Valostre
The Temple of Namari, originally known as Citadel Valostre,[5] was a temple city, and likely the capital of the nephalem kingdom Valostre. At a point, almost all its inhabitants were sacrificed to the Burning Hells by Sargoth. The Betrayer was sealed by the desperate actions of the priestess in the ruins of the temple,[6] along with his top lieutenants.[5] The souls of some nephalem were bound to the temple to ensure that the dark summoner and his followers never resurfaced [7], with the Priestess Namari being Sargoth's warden.
Three beacons were installed, imbued with preservation magic, so that Sargoth would be kept alive.[8] A number of barriers were erected to contain Sargoth's own magic. However, over the aeons, his rage granted him power,[3] and his connection to the Burning Hells stronger.[7]
At some point, Namari faced Sargoth in single combat, but was defeated.[3]
Over the years, various adventurers retrieved/stole relics from the temple, and attempted to sell them at Port Justinian. However, misfortune appeared to follow the relics, and eventually, Talva Silvertongue stopped seeing them pass its gates.[9] One of its three beacons ended up in a different village.[8]
In 1270, the last of the temple's three beacons were stolen, which left Namari powerless to deal with Sargoth, whom she warned would escape in time. She was met by Jin and the Shard-seeker who agreed to retrieve the beacons in exchange for Namari granting them the items they sought.[7] The first beacon came into the hands of Elder Owen, which kept him alive even as Corpse Worms devoured him from the inside. Owen was put out of his misery and the beacon claimed. The second ended up in the hands of the Fetish of Rikari Village,[8] and wielded by Chieftain Ongori. He was slain by the hero(es) and the beacon retrieved.[10] The third beacon was obtained by Rhodri the Red, who too was slain.[11] The heroes returned to the temple with the beacons, to Namari's joy. She ordered Jin to stay at the altar lest Sargoth break the seal before they were ready, while she led the other hero(es) into the temple to confront Sargoth.[12] They succeeded in striking him down.[3]
After that, there was a resurgence of adventures raiding the temple for its relics,[13][14] though they risked acquiring cursed relics.[14]
Gameplay[]

Unused artwork of the Temple of Namari
The temple is encountered as a Bilefen zone in Diablo Immortal, and also serves as a dungeon.
The dungeon becomes accessible during "The Final Summoning" quest. The dungeon itself is divided into a number of chambers. Each chamber has a number of monsters the player must kill to progress. When facing Sargoth himself, a number of monsters are spawned in the encounter. These monsters are randomized.

- Namari: Sargoth betrayed us. For his terrible crime...he was imprisoned for eternity. Or, so we believed...When I faced him again...something had changed. His rage had grown...granting him terrifying power. I fought with all my strength. Everything I had! I failed. You, must not.
- Namari: Sargoth's prison lies in the depths of the temple, but even here I can feel his foul magics at work...
- Namari: The spirits of my breathren are under his control. They will rise against us. Persevere and we will meet ahead.
- Namari: How my soul aches at the sight of this once joyous place, now devoid of life and forgotten...Wait, no--we're not alone. Restless spirits surround us! Champion, ready your weapon!
- Namari: The barriers that blocks us also serve to hold back his power. When one is breached, the others bear the strain.
- Namari: As Sargoth's bonds weaken, his power to summon demonkind will grow stronger. Be ready.
- Namari: There is a larger summoning ring beyond this barrier, hero. Kill the mages and the ritual will end.
- Namari: Well done, champion. I am activating the gateway to the final chamber. Go and do what I could not. End Sargoth.
- Sargoth: So this is Namari's last hope? A pale shade of our kind's former glory. Come, then. Bear witness to my return!
- Namari: Thank you, champion. All that I promised you and Jin is yours. Wield Yl'nira responsibly, for our hope goes with you.
- Namari: May the gifts of your ancestors aid you in bringing about a better age.
