Temple Guardians are monsters encountered in Diablo Immortal. They are stronger versions of Temple Sentinels.

Lore[]

Forged from steel and stone, the Temple Guardians were created during the era of the nephalem.[1] Wary of their own divided natures, the nephalem built Temple Guardians to be [1] By the 13th century, Temple Guardians continued to patrol the grounds of ever-decaying dwellings, protecting their secrets from trespassers.[1]

In-game[]

Temple Guardians can be found inactive in a sword plant pose, at the entrance to the Temple of Namari's library.[2] They only seen active when the charge they are to guard has been breached,[3][2] or if manually activated.[4]

All Temple Guardians are immune to knockback.

The Ancient Guardians cosmetic set is themed after Temple Guardians.

Trivia[]

  • The transcript of side quests featuring Temple Guardians imply that they are not mere golems, but actually ancient nephalems embalmed and preserved in steel and stone, in order to serve as eternal guardians.
