Telluric Fragments is an item in Diablo Immortal.
There is no connection between this item and Telluric Pearl, other than both being related to Legendary Gems.

- Craft 20 into a bound 1-star Legendary Gem of choice.
- Craft 80 into a bound 2-star Legendary Gem of choice. (Battle Pass exclusive gems such as Fervent Fang are not available this way)
History[]
Originally, Diablo Immortal had a much more complicated rune system, the description of which can still be found in outdated game guides. The AST rune was the successor to the ATI rune, while dozens of other types of runes existed that were each required for a distinct Legendary Gem. Those other runes were removed and the costs of the recipes updated accordingly.
In the Nightmare Manifest update, the word "rune" was repurposed to refer to a new system, therefore retaining the AST rune would have cause confusion. It was changed to Telluric Fragments, with the quantity and usage exactly matching that of the old AST rune. leftover AST runes (including from the story quest) can be exchanged at the Apprentice Jeweler, by choosing the "Trade Telluric Fragments" option, which will have a "Rare Rune Trade" with the legacy rune in inventory.
