References?[]
The article claims that the Butcher's quotes are from Sinistar (without bothering to reference them, of course). Given the content, it is just as likely that the quotes are from the George Orwell book Animal Farm, where the sheep walk around saying "Two legs bad, Four legs good" and later "Four legs good, two legs better". - I've removed the line. To be honest, the whole "x is like y" thing is something I'm wary of. I see the resemblance to Animal Farm, but having not played Sinstar, who knows, maybe it's closer there. According to Wikipedia it's had quite a bit of a legacy in games (Warcraft included), but I think that any ref would need to cite specific lines. Animal Farm may fit the bill as long as it's phrased as "the Butcher's lines bear resemblance to the phrase (sheep stuff) from Animal Farm).--Hawki (talk) 21:56, January 18, 2014 (UTC)
Same Butcher[]
Can't believe this missed me up till now, but the Butcher's Carver references the "resurrected Butcher demon." I'd always assumed until now that the two were separate per the lore blurb in D3, but this seems to be the stronger evidence that the two are separate. Oops.
Anyway, it's not too much of a hassle, as the content can still remain, but leaves us with the question of gameplay separation. Either a) keep the separate articles, and make a Butcher (Character) article to cover lore (similar to how the Diablo page has separate articles for each game appearance), or simply combine it all into the one article.--Hawki (talk) 09:38, July 1, 2015 (UTC)
