Zombie Dogs not attacking[]

I've noticed that sometimes the Zombie Dogs stay still without attacking anything, regardless of nearby enemies and if the Witch Doctor is attacking anything. Sometimes walking around enemies or re-summoning makes them attack normally again, sometimes it doesn't. This also happens if you have the single Big Dog through Tall Man Finger. Anyone else experienced this bug and know how to effectively fix it? I play on the Xbox 360 version, but I don't know if this happens on PC, or if it was fixed on 2.1. Bingbangpoe (talk) 02:04, October 4, 2014 (UTC)

Used to happen on PC too, but I didn't see that happening lately. Most likely it was fixed. Even if it was not on patch notes. Pryamus (talk) 02:14, October 4, 2014 (UTC)

spamming issue[]

re:

The cooldown of this skill prevents spamming the enemies with Dogs

I'm not really sure that's what does it. I noticed when I still had dogs around and the cooldown timer ended, recasting it just made the previous ones vanish, so I think there's just a hard cap on the number. Tycio (talk) 18:02, 2 January 2021 (UTC)

unsummon[]

Is this not possible in D3 like in D2? Wanting them to go away and stop killing enemies (trying to minimize XP gain for challenging runthrough) but they keep engaging. Seems to be very hard for them to die, hopefully it happens eventually and running fast makes them follow me instead of finishing enemies off, while still taking damage themselves.

Do they heal over time or something? Tycio (talk) 18:02, 2 January 2021 (UTC)
