precast behavior? Edit

How does this skill behave when I use a precast staff that grants me +3thunder storm +3light mastery (and normally have zero skills). Does still skill works on any future Thunder Storm effect when I switch to first weapon set which mean that I will have 0 lightning mastery ? 02:10, June 26, 2011 (UTC)

Precast Behavior Edit

AFAIK, it will set the skill level at casting. Which means if you switch back to your skiller staff every time you cast it, you'll receive the bonuses. If you switch and then recast it, those skills will be at the levels without the bonuses.

Pre-LoD Edit

According to the Diablo II Strategy Guide by BradyGames, this spell reduced mana cost per spell in the vanilla version. I think it might be useful to list the vanilla qualities, as well as listing when it changed so drastically if this change did not occur with the release of LoD. Chart for D2C? Edit

Should we include the mana reduction in previous versions of the game? Brainwasher5 (talk) 03:12, February 9, 2016 (UTC)

Little point in it really, but we can (if we find it). After all, to my knowledge, it is the only skill in game that was reworked from scratch with an addon, leaving nothing from its classic functionality. That can go to the article too. Pryamus (talk) 08:48, February 9, 2016 (UTC)
I agree there's little practical point, but for comprehensiveness' sake I think it'd benefit the wiki. I have the Bradygames strategy guide with the old stats as of version 1.00. Brainwasher5 (talk) 11:58, February 9, 2016 (UTC)
