Brothers or Nah?[]
So a few times people have added and removed Tyrael to the relatives section. The Sin Wars series does make a point of talking about the fact that they are more brothers then regular angels. Rathma even calls him uncle in the third book. Are we considering the Sin Wars non-canon? Or I guess semi-canon? Certainly, there's been a lot that was retconned from them, but I haven't found anything directly contradicting this in recent media. I suppose it's a sort of Hephasto situation - he was originally listed as a fallen angel, and it's not stated that he isn't anymore, but it's not said that he is either.

- "Brother" can be used in terms other than a biological sense. However, as far as relatives go, they're only used for the biological for the most part, foster parents/guardians being an exception.
- But as for the uncle thing, the exact line is There is he who was closest to my father, as close as blood, despite neither having any. Yea, I might call him uncle, Trag, for as the angels count him, he and Inarius are considered brothers.
- So while the books specify the closeness between Tyrael and Inarius, it also makes it clear that there's no biological relationship between them. Ergo, while it's the type of relationship that can be elaborated on in their bio/persona sections, they're not entries that should go in the relatives entry. And considering how angels are 'spawned' by the Crystal Arch, it would technically be impossible for any angel to be biologically related, least as we understand it.--Hawki (talk) 23:30, January 3, 2019 (UTC)
