Was this meant to be an expansion, for sure? I found a site saying it was a movie title: Other than sharing the same name, the movie has nothing in common with Blizzard's online RPG although this has not stopped the company seeking to halt New Line from using the title. It claims it intends to make a movie based on the game and has already registered a trademark for a second movie, to be titled Diablo II: Salvation. Source. Somewhere, it also said it was going to be a collection of HD cinematics from Diablo II and LOD, like the Starcraft one. Can't find the link to the article right now. - DanTalk 20:41, 19 September 2008 (UTC)

Honestly, I had no idea such a thing as Diablo II: Salvation even existed. I found a similar source though. Who was the one who made this article, anyway? CCHoudini! My Talk 20:54, 19 September 2008 (UTC)
Hawki made the article. We need a verifiable source. I've not found one yet. Oh, by the way, I like your turquoise sig. - DanTalk 20:59, 19 September 2008 (UTC)
Oh, thanks :). A thread on diablofans is the best I could find, besides the Blizz planet interview. All other sources say it was a sequel to a planned Diablo film. Is it both or neither, perhaps? :/ CCHoudini! My Talk 21:06, 19 September 2008 (UTC)
It seems that Salvation was never officially confirmed, but was only a patent created by Blizz listed in the US Patent website in the early LoD days. It's only a name that was patented. So, we cannot say that it's either a game or a movie. Very ambiguous name. The article should be rewritten. And Houdini, me luv blue sig too ;) Yes, I was inspired by Dan to say that :P "Fear me!!!"
