My pet theory is that ALL of the 'deities' except Zakarum are nephalem and they're just called deities because most people don't know about nephalem.
Rathma was a nephalem, the Ancients and Bul-Kathos. Fiacla-Géar, the brother of Bul-Kathos, was one too. And presumably Esu. This leaves the amazon deities, who very much look like nephalem too.
