  • Due to the way this gem works, it is mostly useful to builds with channeled skills.

This section contains facts and trivia relevant to this article.
  • The name of this gem is a distorted form of "Taegeuk", a Korean symbol of absolute reality. The appearance of the gem is also drawn after tri-colored Taegeuk.
  • Originally, this gem was intended to be used with channeling skills. However, up to 2.4.1, it was used for all skills, in many cases forcing players to cast skills in thin air to avoid losing stacks. Because of this, developers decided to revamp the gem in 2.4.1.
  • If you end up having enough resource cost reduction to make a skill cost no resource, Taeguk will stop working with it. An example is if you have enough resource cost reduction on a Wizard and use Storm Armor - Power of the Storm. This is likely a bug or unintended interaction.
