Taanish is a former member of the Sand Scorpions.
Biography[]
Taanish joined the Scorpions in order to feed his family. He and his sister, Pabi, were forced to work for a sadist named Iqler. Taanish abandoned the Scorpions and made his way to Tabri's Encampment, declaring his intention to surrender. While Venter was suspicious, a hero/group of heroes went into the sands to hear Taanish's story. They agreed to help him in rescuing his sister.
Taanish and the hero(es) found Pabi being attacked by Iqler, who mortally wounded her. Taanish rushed to intervene, but was mortally wounded himself, and while the hero(es) slew Iqler, neither Taanish nor Pabi could be saved. With his dying breath, Taanish lamented how he'd allowed the Scorpions to use him, and requested that the hero(es) break Iqler's saber. They obliged, and Taanish died.[1]
In-game[]
Taanish is an NPC in Diablo Immortal. He plays a role in "The Enemy of My Enemy" dynamic event. He will directly engage Iqler, but does no damage, and will die regardless of the player's actions.
