Symbol of the Guardian Brotherhood was a Legendary Crafting Material in Diablo III. It requires a Character Level of 1 to use, is account bound, and may be stacked up to 1000 times. It was required for the crafting of each piece of the Guardian's Jeopardy set. As of patch 2.0.6., it no longer drops, and existing Symbols may be sold for 50,000 gold.
The item had a chance to drop off the unique Demon Troopers:
- Thromp the Breaker (Skycrown Battlements)
- Obis the Mighty (Skycrown Battlements)
- Bashface the Truncheon (Stonefort)
- Dragus (Stonefort, Waiting for Reinforcements Event)
- Bricktop (Stonefort)
- The Crusher (The Keep Depths Level 2)
- Busaw (Rakkis Crossing, Crazy Climber Event)
After the assault on the guardians' fortress, those demon troopers who survived were known to carry the emblems of those they had slain as trophies.
