Suspicious Cave is the eighth Mount Zavain core quest in Diablo Immortal. It follows from Track Dravec, immediately after arriving at the entrance of the cave. It is succeeded by Strange Wooden Hut.
Objectives[]
- Investigate the Cave.
(Following the path has lead you to a hidden alcove. Was this Dravec's hiding place?) - Kill the ambushing Undead (0/13).
(As you step through the cave, bones covering the floor begin to rattle and spring to life. A trap!) - Search for Clues (0/3).
(The undead were not here by coincidence. Search through the cavern and uncover what happened here.) - Talk to Oza.
(Reading through the documents, Dravec's depravity only becomes more apparent. Signs point to him spending time in an old Zakarum chapel. Perhaps Oza knows its location.) - Reach the Zakarum Chapel.
(The two of you seek a Zakarum temple lost to the unforgiving mists. Keep close to Oza, for the hateful nightmares swarming within the fog show no mercy.)
Transcript[]

- Oza: What's that up ahead? There, on the bridge!
- The corpse of a monk lies at the end of the bridge, just before the cave.

A torn journal is beside the corpse
- Torn Journal:
This mountain is cursed. Why the order thought to send us here I cannot possibly fathom. What good is tracking an exile through a land that will most certainly kill him?
We were ordered to avoid entanglements in the monastery, but that left us with few options for a staging ground. We've been able to find some small safety in a cavern on the edge of the mists. It will serve well enough while we continue the search.
The days seem to blend together. Yet still we search. If Master Vitalya's murderer has hidden on the mountain, he will be found and brought to justice. Even if what we find is a corpse.
- Head into the cave
- Oza: A thousand and one curses upon you Dravec.

A Revenant Mage guards the cave. It raises other skeletons
- After defeating the undead
- Oza: Search the cave thoroughly. Dravec killed the acolyte outside and left a trap herein. There must be a reason why.
- Search for Clues
- Monk's Journal (on a table):
The masters refuse to tell us more about this Dravec beyond a description of his face. Why is there such secrecy over an exile? I know it is not my place to question the sight of the Patriarchs, but this seems like a fool's errand. If he is a murderer, what could possibly bring him back onto the mountain where the very act took place? - Torn Journal (on a shelf):
The nightmares hinder our progress at every step. Curse whatever begat these monstrosities! One stalks the land with such an intense hatred that even the air around it eats away the flesh. We were able to find one structure in the mists. An old Zakarum chapel, but the creatures swarm around it. I fear this land may be the death of us. - Third Clue:
A location is marked on the map
- Return to Oza
- Class: Oza look at this, some journal entries and a map. Have you heard of a Zakarum chapel here?
- Oza: No, but it does not surprise me. Much of what the Zakarum built upon the mount has been lost to the mists. And few people are willing to brave the nightmare grounds to find such a place. It would be a perfect place to hide...
- Class
- Standard: You're right. That's certainly worth a look.
- Tempest: It is wise to fear the mists, especially when such danger lurks inside. But I have trained my whole life to delve into the shifting shadows and uncover the knowledge trapped within. Where should we begin our search?
- Oza: The map showed the chapel at the center of the battlefield. The nightmares are strong there. Do not let down your guard.
