Stormpoint
Stormpoint is a zone in Diablo Immortal.
Lore[]
Stormpoint is a salt-scrubbed prison island, battered by rainfall and caked in mist.[1]
History[]
Stormpoint was settled by Westmarch. The island was used as a clandestine prison to house Sanctuary's worst of the worst and political prisoners.[1][2]
In 1265, the Worldstone was destroyed. The largest shard landed in the ocean off Stormpoint, where it was eventually swallowed by a sea creature. The creature came to reside under Stormpoint Keep.[1][2]
Seven years later, the effects of the shard had overtaken the island.[1] The Cult of Terror attacked the island, destroying the Shanties[2] before moving on to besiege Stormpoint Keep in an effort to retrieve the shard. The Shard-seeker came to the island to investigate.[1]
In-game[]
Stormpoint was released with the Terror's Tide update in December, 2022. It has its own questline and bounties.[3] To gain access to Stormpoint and its questline, players must be at character level 60, reached Hell I (formerly III) difficulty, and completed the "Starsign" quest.[1]

Trivia[]
- Before Westmarch settled Stormpoint and introduced the Zakarum to its denizens, the natives had another religion in which they worshipped the sea/ a deity of the sea.[4] Now, this old religion is mostly obsolete, though traces can be seen in their burial rites.[4][5] The ruins of a church to the old religion can be found at the Windswept Shoals.
