Spectral Blade

Spectral Blade Class: Wizard (Diablo III) Required Level: 11 Skill Category: Signature Spells Active Summon a spectral blade that strikes all enemies up to 15 yards in front of the Wizard for 168% damage as Arcane. Damage Type: Arcane Other Stats: Signature spells are free to cast.

Spectral Blade is an Arcane spell used by Wizards in Diablo III.

In-game

Spectral Blade hits a short, but broad arc before the Wizard, approximately 160 degree wide and 15 yards long. All enemies in that area are hit for Arcane damage. It counts as a Signature spell and therefore costs no Arcane Power. It is considered a melee skill, and is highly valued by melee-build Wizards.

Runes:

• Flame Blades: damage type turns to Fire. Each enemy hit also increases damage of Fire spells by 1% for 5 seconds, stacking up to 30 times, but not renewed.
• Siphoning Blade: each enemy hit awards 2 Arcane Power.
• Thrown Blade: damage type changes to Lightning, and increases damage to 231% and range to 20 yards.
• Barrier Blades: each cast covers Wizard with a damage-absorbing shield (absorbs 4% of maximum Life in damage), stacking infinitely but not renewed (internal cooldown depends on attack speed). This shield is granted even if no enemy has been hit.
• Ice Blades: damage type changes to Cold, 5% chance on hit to Freeze each enemy hit, and Frozen enemies have additional +5% chance to be critically hit by Spectral Blades.

Non-rune Enhancements:

• Fragment of Destiny (Legendary Wand): Your Signature Spells attack 50% faster and deal triple damage. You gain a Spectral buff whenever you land an attack with a Signature Spell. Hydras deal 25-30% increased damage for each Spectral stack. Max 10 stacks.
• Triumvirate (Legendary Source): casting Spectral Blade increases damage of Arcane Orb by 300-400% for 6 seconds, stacking up to 3 times, charges not consumed upon cast.
• Delsere's Magnum Opus Set (Set Bonus for 2 items): casting Spectral Blade reduces the remaining cooldown of Slow Time by 3 seconds.
• Delsere's Magnum Opus Set (Set Bonus for 6 items): enemies affected by Slow Time and 5 seconds afterwards take +12500% increased damage from Spectral Blade.
• The Shame of Delsere (Legendary Belt): the spell is cast 50% faster and restores 9-12 Arcane Power on each cast.
• Simplicity's Strength (Legendary Gem): increases damage by 25% (+0.5% per rank) and heals the character for 4% of maximum Life per hit (rank 25 bonus).
• Boyarsky's Chip (Legendary Gem): Taunts the first enemy hit for 2 seconds (rank 25 bonus).
• Ashnagarr's Blood Bracer (Legendary Bracers): potency of Barrier Blades shields increases by 75-100%.

Passives:

• Prodigy: each cast restores 5 Arcane Power.
