Siegebreaker (Quest)

Siegebreaker is the sixth and penultimate quest of Act III of Diablo III.

• Tyrael: You cannot stand before El'druin!

• Tyrael: El'druin will destroy the demonic seal protecting this gate.

  • Templar: Do you have any family waiting for you back where you’re from?

  • Necromancer: I left my family long ago to pursue my training.

  • Class: I can relate to that, my friend.

• Adria: I come with urgent news. Leah has had another vision — a vision of twisted, demonic towers and enormous hearts beating within them!

• Tyrael: I know of them; they are the Sin Hearts. Azmodan must have dredged them up from the depths of his realm to empower his legions.

  • Necromancer: Not for long.

Quest Log

• Part 1
  • Barbarian: Demons hold the bridge leading to Arreat Crater, where Azmodan commands his armies. Tyrael has joined me, and together we will lay waste to any enemies that try to keep us from reaching the Lord of Sin.
  • Crusader: This bridge is called Rakkis Crossing. Perhaps it holds secrets that may benefit the Crusade. I will have to explore it later, after I've killed the demon guarding it, and taken the fight to Azmodan in Arreat Crater.
  • Demon Hunter: Surprisingly, Tyrael has decided to join me as I fight my way into the crater. He is a fine swordsman, and more importantly, he possesses a determination that is rare even in the best of warriors. I wonder what would have happened if the angels had chosen to defend humanity long ago. Would our world have suffered so greatly?
  • Monk: Smoke and fire rise from Arreat Crater in the distance, and only the demons that hold Rakkis Crossing stand between me and Azmodan. With Tyrael now at my side, we will decimate the legions of Hell.
  • Necromancer: I have the privilege of fighting alongside Tyrael himself. Though he is mortal, he still possesses the will and temperament of an angel. Watching him slay the demons firsthand will be a perfect meditation on role of the Balance.

• Part 2
  • Barbarian: I have bested the mighty siegebreaker that stood between me and Azmodan's crater. Adria has appeared as if out of nowhere, and she waits to speak with me.
  • Crusader: The siegebreaker that defended the crater is dead, but I will not proced yet, as Adria wishes to have a word.
  • Demon Hunter: We broke through Azmodan’s gate, and he sent a massive siegebreaker demon after us in retaliation. Fortunately, Tyrael and I were able to defeat the monster. Our path to the crater is clear, but Adria has suddenly arrived. I’ll have to see what she wants.
  • Monk: That was a proper test! The siegerbreaker demon has fallen just like all the others that Azmodan has sent against me. Adria has come to speak with me, but I do not know what could be so urgent.
