Shrine of Rakanishu
The Shrine of Rakanishu is a shrine located in the Dahlgur Oasis, and hosts an event of the same name. Rakanishu's Blade is rewarded for completing the relatively short event, which involves killing a number of Fallen and destroying their ritual stones. The event can be assigned as a bounty.
The shrine itself is located on a hill with three stairways leading up it from all sides except the north. It does not appear in every game.
Event description[]
The Nephalem must destroy 5 Summoning Stones surrounding a shrine and attended by a number of Fallen, including basic ones called Fallen Devotees (labeled as Disciples of Rakanishu) and Fallen Masters. The stones can be easily destroyed with light damage. This causes a Unique Monster to appear, the Avatar of Rakanishu, who must be killed in turn. The central shrine can then be clicked to destroy it, completing the event and awarding XP, gold, and a magic sword which has a chance to be Rakanishu's Blade.
